These Shiraz grapes were hand plunged over 12 days in open one tonne fermenters then basket pressed and racked to barrels to complete the malolactic fermentation. Bright fresh plummy fruit characters are matched by supple velvety tannins. A lively palate and some bright plum fruit followed by mouthwatering, velvety tannins that provide a long, firm finish.

Made entirely from fruit from our Wyberba vineyard, this Shiraz is another fine example of our medium bodied cool climate style. This one is built to last while being very approachable in its youth. 10 months in seasoned French oak gives some vanilla spice and complexity.
This wine will show its best if decanted.
Enjoy! Serve it with slow cooked Lamb shanks.
