The fruit sourced for this wine is grown by Duncan and Dinie Ferrier at their beautiful Rosemary Hill vineyard to the north west of Stanthorpe. The nose shows typical Petit Verdot characters of cherry and spice with a floral overtone. The wine features intense colour and firm tannin profile with rich ripe fruit lingering on the palate. A powerful wine that will certainly benefit with more time in the bottle. We recommend cellaring for five to ten years. Serve with aged cheeses like Stilton.
Another Strangebird Wine.
