2025 vintage produced a bigger crop than usual. Our Mourvedre produced some delicious ripe fruit and a wine of wonderful balance. A small percentage of whole bunches added to the ferment give a fresher mid palate with some lifted cherry aromatic notes. This wine has loads of the savoury spice and fine powdery tannins this variety is known for. Delicious now but has plenty of ageing potential if you can keep it away from your mates for a few years! This wine will show best if decanted.

This Mourvedre wine shows the classic varietal characters of spice and vibrant savoury dark fruit paired with a fine silky tannin structure.
Maturation in French oak barriques has added complexity without dominating the fruit. Delicious now so why keep it.
Serve it with venison or kangaroo.
