This Mourvedre shows the classic varietal characters of spice and vibrant dark fruit paired with a fine persistent tannin structure. It’s a great expression of the fruit characters of this variety.
Maturation in a combination of French and American oak has added complexity without dominating the fruit. Delicious now but has plenty of ageing potential if you can keep it away from your mates for a few years!
Serve it with game meat.
