A four barrel blend made from 100% estate grown fruit, hand planted in 1999. 2019 brought a dry spring with no rain to follow. The vines responded well and produced some of the best Cabernet fruit we have picked. A huge fruit driven wine finishing with firm tannin. Twelve months in French oak, 25% new, contributes subtle spice and vanilla characters. We recommend short term cellaring. This wine will show its best if decanted.
Serve with marinated lamb rump and Mediterranean vegetables.
