Only one barrel made from 100% estate grown fruit. Typical cool climate Cabernet fruit shows varietal characters of mulberry and blackberry. Ten months in aged oak contributes subtle spice and vanilla characters.
Our Cabernets really need a couple of years in the bottle to hit their straps so those who can keep this wine stashed in a suitable place for at least a couple of years will be well rewarded.
This wine will show its best if decanted. Serve with marinated lamb rump and Mediterranean vegetables.
