This blend is a selection of some of the best barrels from our 2016 vintage. This year the blend is made up of 40% Cabernet, 40% Merlot and 20% Petit Verdot.
This combination of varieties, in French and American oak, gives a wine of remarkable character, just like its namesake. Intense dark berry flavours combine with subtle toasty oak to give a wine with real depth and complexity.
Try it with rib fillet rolled in herbs and porcini mushrooms.
