Bernie’s Blend is dedicated to Bernie, father of Warren the winemaker, whose help and encouragement has assisted greatly in the establishment of Pyramids Road Wines.

This blend is similar to our 2023 vintage, being a field blend. Rather than being a selection of the best barrels from different varieties this wine is a field blend of Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot, the last pick of the season at the end of March. The grapes were crushed and co-fermented with a small percentage of whole bunches, then matured in French oak for 10 months with 30% being new.

Try it with rib fillet rolled in herbs and porcini mushrooms.
